| e2nh6_v1 | The Reception of Selected Female Readers Toward Romance Story in The Wattpad | Along with the development of information technology, romance stories become literary variables including cyber literature in book applications such as Wattpad. This research used theory of reception literature. The purpose of this research was to describe the reception of selected female readers toward romance story in the Wattpad and the impact of a female reader’s life after reading a romance story in the Wattpad. This research is a qualitative descriptive methods. While, the instrument of this research are questionnaire and note taking to support the data collection. The source of the data of this research is selected female readers in Makassar whose age from eighteen to thirty were the respondents of this research. The result shows that the reception of female readers has been influenced by romance story brings the readers to a specific emotional attitude.
